Christi Zeller was born and raised in Prescott, Arizona, although her family homesteaded near in Missouri Center, now part of Bayfield, Colorado. 　She has lived in Durango for 29 years. She graduated from Fort Lewis College in 1983.

Christi is the Executive Director for the La Plata County Energy Council. She interacts with members and a board to develop and implement effective relations with governmental entities, the media and community contacts.　

 The Energy Council is a non-profit trade organization that promotes safe and responsible natural gas development in La Plata County.　 Individual and company members work to build community relations, increase public understanding, and address public issues relative to the energy industry.

She has been self-employed since 1987. Until June of 2001, she was an independent landman for various oil and gas companies operating in the Colorado portion of the San Juan Basin.  She became a Certified Professional landman in December 1997.　

We welcome Christi to her new position. She is already working up an excellent agenda for the Summer Energy Meeting July 14^th in Rifle at the Grande River Hospital.

We also, thank Dave Cesark for his years of service as the Energy Committee Chairman. Dave has accepted an appointment on the CLUB 20 Executive Committee, as well as he is a CLUB 20 Board Member from Mesa County.
