TE-00-3-Date Certain Of Telecommunication Deregulation

WHEREAS: In 2014, the state legislature passed landmark telecommunications reform that largely deregulated all retail telecommunications services,

WHEREAS: The Colorado Public Utilities Commission will maintain oversight over funding for local service in rural high-cost, non-competitive areas, 911 emergency services and wholesale services,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that CLUB 20 supports a streamlined and expeditious process to implement the new legislation including a process to ensure that rural high-cost local services remain available and affordable.
