Join us for a Zoom discussion with Colorado Neighborhood Coalition about how to get involved in the redistricting process. Because population growth in much of southwest Colorado has lagged the Denver Metro, our legislative districts will have to grow and be fully reconfigured. The maps adopted in 2021 will be in effect for 10 years. Make our rural voice heard!
The passage of Amendments Y & Z in 2018 fundamentally changes how redistricting is conducted. The time to apply for the Congressional and Legislative Redistricting Commissions is now. The application window closes November 10, 2020. If southwest Coloradans are not involved in this process, the Denver Metro will dominate the map-drawing process.
