The Congressional Redistricting Commission released their preliminary Colorado Congressional Districts map. Club 20 is excited to report that the map returns Grand County back to the 3rd and keeps the West Slope whole. We see this as a huge victory for western Colorado and applaud the Redistricting Commission for listening to the comments and concerns of the public.
The newly released map groups communities of interest together around a few key themes critical to western Colorado: watersheds, forests, similar economies, and geographic barriers. These are the ties that unite us as a region.
